Amelia Rey Salinas

Amelia started her artistic career in theater, studying at the Royal School of Dramatic Arts in Madrid, where she graduated.Is there she began to aproach Photo portrait photographing her colleagues during the scenes and especially in the back stage, while their makeup or dressed .

Since then he continued to make photobooks for actors, sill Photo in movies and stage photo in theatre ,also special portraits of artists. In the late nineties , and after working as an actress and also graduating in political science and sociology decided to move to Milan intended to learn studio technique , lighting and fashion photography.

There becomes Giuliana Traverso disciple and works as assistant in fashion photo Studies( superstudio, Egadi, industria) and with fashion photographers such as Pier Paolo Ferrari, Giovanni Gastel, Angelo Annibalini , Avi Meroz , Stefano Galuzzi, Nancy Fina etc etc. There she worked for Elite milan agency, modamilano fashion shows for several collections and advertising catalogs .In 2001 returned to Madrid and opened his own studio , working in Cibeles fashion week and Mercedes fashion week, portraits, books for actors agencies, aerial dance, contemporary dance, album covers, promotional theatrer posters, reports for fashion magazines and interior design, still life products (wines , bicycles) ect .

At the same time develop a new creative perspective and delves into photography as inner research and artistic experiment creating photographic stories with literary , social or experimental theater basis, also still life photos almost poetic and abstract pictorial images etc . His influences and inspirations are the experimental theater, art ( Russian Constructivism, Cubism , German Expressionism), filmmakers and playwrights such as tarkovsky jean genet . Currently lives and works as photographer and theater teacher in Madrid, Barcelona, and Milan.
