FROM FLAMENCO TO EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN MUSIC AND GREECE

This is a show integrating flamenco, sefhardic tradition songs and greek music

The main interest is to recover the purest form of Flamenco, focusing on those influences that played instrumental roles during the rise of such a strong musical phenomenon.

The show represents the contamination of the ancient cultures of the Mediterranean:

flamenco, songs of the sephardic tradition of the jewish people and the songs of traditional greek music

Three cultures expressing all the despair of escape and persecution with the hope of buiding a new and better life.The language of this music expresses the ancient value of Mediterranean tradition a music vibrating inside us beyond political and religious division. It is the music that awakens the feelings of the heart, which unites and makes us feel a single people.
