BIOGRAPHY

In Italy, she did her acting training at the Bernstein Academy of Music and Drama, European School for Actors, Laboratorio Nove, International School of Commedia Dell’Arte. In London, she trained at the École de Mime Corporel Dramatique, Complicité, David Glass, Frantic Assembly. She trained as a singer since the age of five at The Fiesole Music Academy (Italy) and later on covered repertoire from Opera, Jazz, Blues, Musical-Theatre to Gospel. Vocal Research with Venice Manley (Roy Hart Theatre, Paris), Gospel with Bazil Meade, Nehemiah H.Brown (US), Jr Robinson (1995 UK Gospel Award).  She specialized in Musical-Theatre with Ann James (Royal Academy of Music) and Scott John (Guildhall School of Music and Drama), in vocal technique with Melanie Pappenheim (DV8) and in jazz with Randolph Matthews and improvisation with Cleveland Watkiss. At present, vocally supervised and mentored by Mark Meylan.

She has worked for Italian playwrights and directors such as: Dacia Maraini, Marco Paolini (in U-238) and Stefano Benni (in La Topastra and Misterioso).

She has performed with musicians such as Orphy Robinson, Marcio Mattos, Jackie Walduck, Ansuman Biswas, Pat Thomas, Rowland Sutherland, Beibei Wang, Cleveland Watkiss, Dudley Philips. Her music collaborations include also artists like Simon Wallace and Fran Landesman.

In Italy, she is currently performing live concerts accompanied by musicians such as Nehemiah H. Brown, Ilio Barontini, Paola Lenzi, Ilaria Barontini, Alessandra Garosi, Giulio Pietropaolo.
